Chocolate Chip Cookies



Here is a recipe for chocolate chip cookies (makes approximately 3 dozen):

-  2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
-  1 teaspoon baking soda
-  1 cup butter, softened
-  2/3 cup packed brown sugar
-  1/4 cup granulated sugar
-  1 pack (3.4 ounces) instant vanilla pudding pack
-  2 eggs
-  3/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
-  1 3/4 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
-  1 cup walnuts (optional)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Mix flour and baking soda in a small bowl and set aside.

Cream butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar in a medium bowl.  Beat or mix in vanilla pudding.  Stir in eggs and vanilla extract.  Blend in flour and baking soda mixture.  Stir in semi-sweet chocolate chips and walnuts (optional).  Place cookie dough on cookie sheet(s) by the spoonful and bake for approximately 10 to 12 minutes until edges are golden brown.  Cool and serve.  Enjoy!
