Pumpkin Puree



Here is a recipe for pumpkin purée:

Pre-heat oven to 325 degrees.

Cut pumpkin in half from stem to base.  Scrape out seeds and pulp from pumpkin.  See picture below.


Wrap each half in aluminum foil and place in oven, foil side up, for about 1 hour or until the pumpkin is tender.

Scrape off meat from pumpkin and place in a blender and purée.  If not using right way, you can store in your freezer in a freezer safe container.
